Chandra Takes the Natadola Open with a Level-Headed 71

Amitesh Chandra of Denarau Golf & Racquet Club won the Natadola Open, which concluded on Saturday 31 October.

Chandra returned a fine round of 71, one under par, to take the title at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course. More than 130 golfers took part.

The finish was close. Abid Hussain pushed him all the way and finished one shot back on 72, with Zoheer Ahmed third on 74.

The course was in immaculate condition, as always. Players again praised the greens, the fairways and the presentation of the layout. They also enjoyed the setting, with the course running along the Coral Coast.

The strong turnout shows how popular the Natadola Open is on the Fiji PGA calendar. Players came from clubs around the country to take on one of Fiji’s best-known courses.

Fiji PGA thanks all the players for taking part, and the course staff and officials for their work over the event. We also thank our sponsors [add sponsor names] for their support.

Next up is the Lautoka Open this Saturday (7th November). Members can enter through the member portal at fijipga.org.
